Resilience and determination—these were the qualities that John embodied, which helped propel Peotraco Food Inc. (PFI) from a challenging start to new heights.

PFI has a long-standing history of supporting the community, even before Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was widely recognized or mandated by law. John Kaw began his experience in community service in the Manila Jaycees.
With his good reputation in service, he became one of the Founders of Kaisa Para sa Kaunlaran, a non-governmental organization bridging understanding and cooperation for peace and unity in the community within the Philippines.
Eventually, he became a board member of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce (FFCCCI) and served as Chairman of the Youth and Integration Committee. During his tenure, he made significant contributions, including donating several school buildings in various locations.
